Dear Family Deakin, We would like to inform you that because of his good example and success your son, Elder Britten Campbell Deakin is currently serving as a Senior Companion. The senior companion is the missionary in charge of the companionship; he dictates the pace of the work of the Lord for his companion, helping the mission as a whole. In our mission this is a very important position that reflects the confidence that the Mission President deposits in the missionary and more importantly still, it symbolizes the confidence that the Lord has in your son. We know that support from home is essential to his success. We hope that you continue to support him throughout his entire mission and in the future callings he will hold.
